Kanaka, who alleged that her husband went missing just 15 days of their marriage, also vanished from her residence. A letter found on the gates of her residence, written by her father Devadas, requested Kanaka to contact him as soon as possible.
The actress has now resurfaced and has met the press people. Kanaka said that now her suspicion is on her father. She revealed that the only time she meets her father was in the courts where they have a filed a suit on the proprieties belonging to her mother, late actress Devika.
Kanaka said that she has embarked on a search to find her lost husband Muthu Kumar, a California-based engineer.
