Mallika Sherawat doing item song with Simbu in Osthi!

Bollywood movie Dabangg went on to become a huge hit and this film is now being remade in Tamil and Telugu as Osthi and Gabbar Singh respectively. While in Osthi Silambarasan plays the lead role, in Gabbar Singh it is Pawan Kalyan. The highlight of Dabangg happened to be the item number Munni which was by Malaika Arora Khan.

Since this film is being remade in Tamil and Telugu, there was a huge expectation on who would do this item number. Several names came up for consideration including Nayanthara, Anushka, etc. But now it has been announced that Mallika Sherawat will shake her legs with Silambarasan in Osthi. Interestingly, Anushka has agreed to the item number in the Telugu version Gabbar Singh where she will be sharing the screen space with Pawan Kalyan in this song.
