Karthi as Thirudan!

Karthi and Anushka starrer Alex Pandian is a full length comedy film, say sources. With the film titled Alex Pandian, named after the popular police character played by Rajinikanth in Moondru Mugam, here were expectations that it would a police story.

But sources close to the Alex Pandian film unit say that it is a comedy film and title comes with the tagline – Thirudan. Alex Pandian is directed by Suraaj and is produced by Studio Green. Santhanam plays an important role in this film.
