The interim stay on the title Thuppaki has been extended for another week by the magistrate hearing the case. The issue came up for hearing at the City Civil Court in Chennai yesterday during which the magistrate adjourned the case to August 1st.
With this, the interim stay on the title has been extended up to the above-mentioned date. It may be recalled that the makers of Kalla Thuppaki are objecting to the title Thuppaki as it is so similar to their title.
Thuppaki is directed by AR Murugadoss and stars Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead role. Kalaipuli S Dhanu is producing this venture.
