The Tamil remake of the Telugu film Mayrada Ramanna has been given the title ‘Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham’.
The film which was supposed to go on floors with Santhanam playing the lead had reports that he is replaced with Sivakarthikeyan.
Now yet again Santhanam is said to be doing the hero role played by Sunil in the original.
The film will be directed by Srinath who earlier helmed the project Muthirai. Srinath has worked as comedian in films like Ullam Ketkume, Santosh Subramanium.
The movie tagged as a comedy, centres around the lead which was also made in Hindi as Son of Sardaar, which went on to become a hit.
Director Srinath told media, “We are planning to go on floors by July end. We have not yet finalized a heroine. We are looking at three names right now and by this month end we will be able to zero in on the leading lady.”
