Samantha replaces Nayantara!

As the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan is getting ready for its production, heres an interesting development. As per the latest buzz, the female lead in the film is likely to be played by the 10 Endrathukulla actress Samantha. In the original Tamil version, Nayantara played the female lead, who was raved for her matured performance.

However the Telugu makers are in talks to rope in Samantha for the role. On the other side, there are rumours that Madhavan is likely to play antagonist, which was originally played by Arvind Swamy.The Telugu version featuring Ram Charan in the lead is helmed by Surender Reddy. The Telugu version will have few changes to the script to make it appealing to the Telugu audience and is expected to go on floors soon.
