She could either add the glamour quotient in her prime or be reduced to play character roles when she’s passed off. But Trisha is a great survivor and she manages to overcome these norms!
2009 was a forgettable year for the actress who has bounced back with Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya which is well-received in all major cities and overseas.
The joy in her eyes is infectious as she was seen smiling throughout the tete-a- tete with the media recently along with her VTV team.
The 25 something actress is brimming with confidence. Her popularity with fans and co-stars was never a doubt and her charms worked with all her producers, directors and co-stars.
When she made her debut a few years back, she was considered just a pretty face. But over the years, she’s shown maturity and versatility as an actress. And with VTV, she has redefined the concept of girl-next-door and the film hitting the jackpot is a career high for the actress.
When we meet the actress, she looks comfortably settled with the response she’s getting for the film.
Says Trisha: “I am not in any race for anything. I’m competing with myself to do as much good work as I can by doing good roles and continuously try and grow as an actor. I hope all my films do well at the box-office so that I can take steps as an actor”.
This is her time and her moment!
