According to sources, director Prabhu Deva is taking special care to make the songs appear unique on screen. The sizzling chemistry between Vishal and Sameera Reddy is one of the major highlights of Vedi. Sun Pictures has bagged the release rights of Vedi.
Music composed by Vijay Anthony was launched in Chennai recently. According to sources, Vedi is about a Tamil family staying in Kolkata. It is also about the hero, who is in search of his sister.
The film is produced under Vishal’s home banner GK Film Corporation. The film is a remake of the Telugu super hit Sowryam with Gopichand and Anushka in the lead roles. Reportedly Sameera plays the role of a fun-loving college girl Paaro. Sameera will try her hand at comedy for the first time in this film.
