Vijay's Puli to release on his birthday!

Chimbu Deven’s Puli say that the director is planning to release the fantasy-adventure film on 22nd June on Vijay’s 41st birthday.Puli is Vijay’s upcoming film to release after the success of last year’s controversy-ridden Puli. Shruti Haasan and Hansika are pairing up opposite Vijay in the film which also ‘re-launches’ former queen bee Sridevi in Tamil films as Mrs. Boney Kapoor has a mighty significant role to essay. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film. Sudeep of Naan Ee fame plays a prominent role.

For the first time in his career, Vijay is said to be essaying triple roles in the film. In the meantime, reports that the film would be releasing on 22nd June to coincide with Vijay’s 41st birthday puts an end to the uncertainty about when the film would be released. Vijay is said to be planning to release the film on that day as his ‘birthday gift’ to his fans.

The final schedule of the film’s shoot is to commence soon. Actor-cinematographer Nataraj is the lensman in the film which is produced by Thameem and P.T. Selvakumar.
